Our hospital is equipped to provide in-house diagnostic services for your pet’s complete health care needs. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consultations. An extensive Wellness Exam may include:

- Heartworm and Tick-borne Disease Testing (Recommended annually for dogs)
- Complete Blood Cell Count (Recommended annually for our senior patients)

Surgical Services
Our surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures, including cryosurgery, laser surgery and radiosurgery. We utilize the safest available anesthetic protocols to provide that extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. The patient's blood pressure, ECG, O2 level, heart rate, core temperature and respiratory rate are electronically monitored during all major anesthetic procedures.
Radiology Services
Our on-site, modern X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. Radiographs can be submitted to a board certified veterinary radiologist for further evaluation. Routine ultrasounds are available. More complex cases may be referred to an ultrasound specialist. We provide ECG services as consultations with cardiology specialists.
Dentistry
Our dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing (Dental Prophylaxis), tooth extractions and minor oral surgery. More complex dentistry may be referred to the NCSU School of Veterinary Medicine.

Counseling
- Our doctors offer counseling on behavioral problems such as excessive barking, chewing, scratching, digging, feline spraying, house soiling and aggression. A referral to a board certified Animal Behaviorist is offered when necessary.
- We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.
- Our hospital staff can develop individualized flea and tick prevention programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.
Our doctors and staff can discuss options for euthanasia and cremation.
Pharmacy
We maintain a large inventory of pharmaceuticals, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full-line of prescription diets. Written and call-in prescriptions to your local pharmacist are available when needed. Our convenient On-line VetStoreRx offers home shopping at reduced prices.
Grooming
Patrick Brady, Jr. is available by appointment for your grooming needs. Patrick has several years of experience in all styles of grooming for both cats and dogs.
Boarding
We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. Both indoor and indoor/outdoor options are available. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. All boarders must be current on vaccines and parasite free.
